My ggg grandmother, Maria Freed, was b. 1800 in Freshwater, daughter of Edward and Maria Freed (who also had a son Edward b. Freshwater 1798.
Maria married John Williams of Kent and emigrated to British Columbia in 1853.
Are there any descendants of Edward Freed b. 1798 out there who can fill me in on the family's life on the Isle of Wight or his subsequent life?
