I am researching the life of William Darwin Fox (1805-1880). Throughout his life he vacationed on the Isle of Wight, eventually retiring to Sandon in 1873. He is buried in Sandon. Married twice with sixteen children, Fox was a noted clergyman-naturalist. I would like to hear from anyone interested in the amazing Mr. Fox.
