My Hughes ancesors, Charles b 1817 in Cowes, and his father John are from IOW. I am researching to find more information, such as Johns wife, other children, his parents, where on IOW they lived [ I found 1 death record that maybe John on BMD... d 1886 in Godshill] Son's Charles marriage cert. states his dad John was a shoemaker. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
