Hello all,
I am new to this list and I am looking for a MARIA LA FAVE (other spellings also) Maria was probably born in the 1920's it is said she may have also came from France I have no proof of this. Around 1938 or 1939 she married a Herbert Teather a Canadian soldier serving with the Canadian army stationed in England. She lived in Hammersmith England during WW2 while Herbert served with the Canadian Army. After WW2 Herbert was shipped home and made plans for his wife and 2 sons to join him in Canada. When his family arrived in Canada Herbert found out his wife did not want to stay and packed her belongs and returned home, leaving the 2 boys with their father. Nothing was ever heard from her again. If anyone knows anything in regards to Maria and what happened to her I would appreciate your reply.
