I am searching for William Henry Beggs. Date and place of birth according to navy records 22/07/1842Knighton IOW joined merchant navy and then royal navy. Father died when William was young,(his fathers name is given as William Henry Beggs on marriage cerfiticate) mother remarried, he had 2 older sisters. Uncles who had ironmonger shop on the Isle shop closed down early 1900's. Havnt been able to find any trace of birth or family on IOW have been looking for 6 years now, any info would be welcome.
