They had 8 children, 1 one which was my G Grandfather - Joseph Edward Cotton (christened Joseph Thomas Griffin Cotton!) born 26/5/1862 Newport, who married Fanny Elizabeth Tutton on 8/12/1866. They had 2 children, 1 of which was my Grandfather - Percy Charles Cotton born 4/1/1894 Newport, who married Ellen Doody on 24/12/1915. I have been to the IoW Records Office a couple of times (unfortunately I don't live on the island!) and am desperate to find out if my GGG Grandfather had any siblings. I have had many suggestions that he may fit into the Freshwater Cottons, the Niton Cottons etc., but have no actual proof. Is anyone able to help? Regards. Janine Windsor (nee Cotton)

My GGG Grandfather was William Cotton born circa 1787 in Newchurch, married Frances Griffin on 30/10/1817 in Newchurch.
