MARK COOK b 1823 married Elizabeth Kelleway in 1849 in IOW Reg Office. Both were living in Pound, Parish of Newchurch. Mark gave father's name as William on his marriage certificate. Mark died 1879 in Ryde.
1861 Census shows him still in Newchurch as a Bricklayers Labourer born in Romsey. By 5 Dec 1874 (@ his daughter Elizabeth's marriage to Joseph Parker) he was a Greengrocer of 112 High Street Ryde.
I am unable to locate Mark's birth in 1823 to a father William anywhere except Wiliam Cook b 1791 & Hannah Corney - They had a daughter Harriet in Jan 1823. The only other match is in Frampton Cottrell, Gloucestershire but they lived and died in that area.
Can anyone help find Mark's parents?
