Hi Sherri, my friends disapeared much as yours have. It took time for me to understand that mostly its fear. People do not like to face mortality and disability. I took for granted the ability to walk and stand on my own. I am one of those people that never give up. When I was alone I dicided I didn't like it, so I got a handicapped chair and offered to teach art at seniors meetings and work with adults with disabilitys. This has led to many new friends and caring people in my community i would'nt have met otherwise. Please never give up and let pain rule you. I will pray for your health and hope someone hears.
