G: "That means he's really a jerk and just hides it well. The 'pretty' ones always are." B: "Why do you automatically assume HE's a jerk rather than SHE has mental problems to be able to kill herself?" G: "Because she had to be in such a hopeless place to do something like that with four little babies at home. I'll bet you a million bucks, it's about to come out that he was screwing around on her."

This morning my H called on his way to work and got me out of the shower to tell me something he heard on the news. The conversation went this way:
B: "I've got good news and I've got bad news. The good news is that your man, Gary Allen (the country singer) is single again."
Why is this always the first place my mind goes? I still think that's probably it...but I just hate that my thinking goes in this direction automatically. Ugh. Is it just me or are we all warped this way?
