Posted by Jeff I don't know much about the ow's past or why she left her first husband but this guy had a terrible loveless first marriage - his ex was an absolute cold-hearted b###h who didn't want to have any sex or children. Fortunately, no children were involved in their first marriages. I did ask him why didn't he just divorce his first wife but he couldn't really answer me because he didn't know. It just so happened he met his current wife while still married and just fell in love with her immediately. Despite the dubious circumstances, their relationship surprisingly is free of problems normally associated with marriages born of adulterous acts. Another great irony about them is their absolute loyalty and faithfulness to each other. Who knows why but it works. A rare bird indeed.

But the point I was making was that not every such coupling born of affairs will be as dysfunctional as the ones on that survey that J was posting about.
