Share this with your H. Sure it may hurt but you are hurt and you should share your feelings with each other.
Home prices are high but somewhere down the road you may find a home that needs some TLC at a price you can manage and can start again together. It may not be the dream home you have lost but it could be a step toward getting another dream home in the years ahead. I don't know your age so don't know if you are young enough to have the years ahead that will be needed to clear your record of the foreclosure but I do know that if you keep your credit squeaking clean from now on, there are are lenders that will give mortgages within a few years of foreclosures.
