Depends were you are going to run it, the evader is a bit big for indoor use as you said you wanted... although there are some places that have larger indoor tracks for 1:10th scale and up... the larger one will probly break less, and will use interchangeable parts speed control reciever etc... The Evader is a driveway back yard in the grass on the dirt on the pavement, through a puddle type of car. The mini-z is very fickle about were it can be run... only flat (no rocks or cracks) dry hard surfaces (no dirt). I only have a mini-z so I could turn it on and goof around while watching commercials at home in the living room even if all I get is a small circle to drive inbetween the furnature. Keep in mind ebay is a good way to get rid of a bad choice, mini-z used sell for about 80$ and more. You could even start with a used one... just bear in mind u will probly have to fix a wire or something. There are also smaller cars then the mini-z like the Epoch... 1/3 the size of Mini-Z.
