Hi Karen,
I am not sure, but another rescue that I am in touch with was working to place these horses and I believe they have all been placed. However, I have a horse that I need to find a home for that you may be interested in. He is a 21yo Belgian/QH gelding, chestnut w/ a blaze. He is 16.1h, 1450lbs. He is great on trails, but doesn't go alone. Usually a follower, but will lead too. Loves attention! Clips, ties, bathes, trailers, good for vet and farrier and UTD on both. Enjoys a good game of halter tag w our 21yo gelding! Also pastured with 2 other mares (one out for training). He doesn't challenge fencing for the most part, if he's left by himself he gets very nervous and may push on the fence, but if its hot, he gets right back!!! We usually don't even have our fencer turned on. Gator really just doesn't like to be left alone, so if you're looking for a companion and a horse to take out with a friend to trail ride, he's great. As long as he's not alone, he's beginner safe. I've had people riding him that haven't ever been on a horse before, jogging him, and off lead. Overall, a very nice, healthy older gelding! His only health issue is he's allergic to chickens/ducks/etc, so if you have them in free range he wouldn't work for you. I'm only asking $500 to ensure a good home. Located in Mount Morris, NY. If you're interested and want pics, please email me privately at gatornass06@gmail.com, put Gator in the subject line so I know. Thanks!
Chris
