Not this year but hopefully nest pring my friend and are are wishing to share a rescued how. We are looking for one with english saddle eperince and is posible for jumping. We arent the richest people so this is why. I can personally train the jumping and whatever else needed, it just has to be a horse that has no physical problems doing 3-6 days a week riding 1/2-hour lessons/hacks. We are planning to bored the horse in NJ near Manhattan NY where i live. If you have anything not too expensive and could ship we are intested to know the place.
Also I have trained 1 horse 3 ponies so far. I can walk trot canter and jump. The horse i was supose to train was an ex racer TB. He had to learn the basics. I was seemingly the only one who got a calm collected canter out of him and was supose to ride him everyday when i got back from vacation. Sadly when i got back he had been bolting off with students and bucking them off that week before. In result he was serverly lame and we sent him to a retirement home.
Two of the ponies i worked with were mearly more touch than my concept. They would rush off with kids in teh trot when they got on and would buck and rear(not safe for inexperinced riders). So they dicided to try me on them and they were calm and subtle and slow. I just consitenly rode them until it seemingly sunk into them and they are now to this day still calm and slow and now safer for begginers to ride.
The other pony who i am curently working with still is a green pony. He came to us knowing walk and trot and some of canter. He was a baby and we had to teacher him his canter and build up his muscle. He now has a perfect canter but still needs work on just ground manners. We have been for about 2 months now working on his jumping which is a great experince. I am hoping to train at a rescue the closer to NYC the better. If needed please e-mail me.
