Free Companion/ Light Riding Horse

I have an 18yr. thoroughbred mare I am trying to find a home for. She has an abscesse on her right hind leg and would need some time for that to heal. I believe she would be a good companion horse because she is a very sweet mare. She would be okay for light flat work riding after the abscesse heals. She is located in North Reading MA.
