Usually you can get a horse to join up with you in just a few minutes. We've had success in as little as 10 minutes and now we have one horse that won't lunge and just walks up to you and wraps his head and neck around you. This is part of John Lyons training. When they start moving their mouth it's a sign of submission meaning they're telling you that you are in charge.
: Do any of you know how to team up? Its where
: you lounge a horse and you try to get it to
: trust you? the first sign its working is,
: his ears are squared with you, and then he
: starts chewing, but there's nothing in his
: mouth, and then he puts his head
: down.....and you turn away, and he comes to
: you and puts his mussle on your shoulder,
: and you start walking and he follows
: you.....have any of you tried it? does it
: work?
: if so, how long does it normally take?
: PLEASE let me know! thanks for reading this!
