Posted by Chris Tad is a 15yo AQHA gelding. 14.2h, dun (or buckskin?), no white except a small spot on back of one pastern. Tad has a great personality! He's very friendly, enjoys attention and grooming. He ties, clips, bathes, loads great, is awesome for vet/farrier, etc. He needs an intermed. or better rider right now, he hasn't been ridden regularly since last fall, and is testing every rider at this point to see if they'll actually make him work. Once he realizes he is supposed to be working, he's fine. Not spooky on trail at all! Basically, Tad is just in need of a refresher. His biggest fault at this point is he doesn't want to be away from his buddies, and that's only because he's been out with them for so long now without work. He's very passive in a herd situation, and would do great in a pasture by himself. I've reduced his price to $800, and I'll accept anything reasonable. Please, no homes where he'd be used as a lesson horse or camp horse or anything like that. Tad is a great horse, and deserves a good home with a family to love him! Email for pics. Gator is a 19yo Belgian/QH gelding. 16.1h, 1400+lbs, chestnut with blaze and sock. Very pretty boy! He also has 2 black spots on him. He has decent ground manners, but can become pushy when he's nervous and wants to get back to the pasture. He ties, clips (with patience), bathes, loads (sometimes needs some convincing but he's not hard to load), good for vet and farrier, etc. Gator is best when ridden by an intermediate rider, or a beginner with some riding experience. He prefers trail, but is good in the ring. Not spooky...but if something should startle him, he jumps to the side a bit and looks at it. He has a strong lope in the open, but is very easy to stop as long as you keep contact on his mouth. He never takes off, even in open fields, bucks, or rears. This must be known to anyone interested in Gator: he has an allergy to chickens, ducks, geese, etc!! He has trouble breathing when they are free-roaming, but if they are penned up, he has NO issues at all with them. I will not allow him to go to a home with birds that are not penned! I am only asking $650 for him, and again, I won't refuse any reasonable offer to a good home. Many pics available, just email for them. If you are a rescue, and I have not yet posted that homes have been found, please let me know as I would much rather place them with a reputable rescue than send them to auction. I am desperately in need of the money to catch up on some back bills, but their well-being is more important to me. Thanks very much! Chris

I have posted both of these horses before, but have had no luck finding new homes. I am unable to keep these guys only because of a new baby, and I am not working at the time being. To make matters worse, the people I have them pastured with are moving out of state on Sept.5, and I HAVE to have both horses out of there by then. They are both offered for sale to a GOOD HOME only, and no reasonable offer will be refused! Both horses are located in Wellsville, NY.
