HELP:
Does anyone know what will help my 6 year old mare.When I bought her last year she had not been wormed in three years. She was underweight, by about 200 pounds, could not shed her winter coat due to lack of nutrients, and had abcesses.
All that has been taken care of. Her stool on the other hand continues to be pure water. The vets have tried Pepto, all sorts of worming treatments, yogurt, biotin.. I've changed diets, and tried beet pulp. It does not seem to bother her but is smelly and we have to clean up her legs nearly everyday, and in the winter oh my Horse poop popsicle tail NASTY.. Has anyone ever run across this problem? Does anyone have any ideas, i'm scared of dehydration with the summer coming.. Once in a great while it will be normal but only for a day or two..
