Announcing another Equine Rescue Ethics Mediation Committee Volunteer Candidate!
Name: Tanya Wynne
Contact info. email: rtmtwynne@verizon.net
Website: None
Connected in any way to any Rescues. If yes, who are they? Ipswich Equine Rescue in Magnolia Texas. I am treasurer and I am attempting to help Kathleen network to find horses all over the US and Canada to find foster and forever homes. Kathleen introduced me to equine rescue and put me in touch with the lady that I rescued Rosie (my Clyde mare) and Midnight (my mini stallion) from. I was just recently made treasurer.
Children: 2 children one girl age 12 and one son age 9
Marital Status: married
Why do you want to be a Committee member: I want to help rescue equines but I also know that there are good and bad rescues out there. I want to help the good rescues protect themselves and I want to help weed out the bad rescues, the people who do not help the horses. I think a board of ethics is one thing that is lacking in the equine rescue world. The first place a person should feel good about turning to is a rescue for help and I know many people do not have the time to research who is going to help the equines or who is going to hurt them. So many good rescues fall under rumors and bad ones stay around to accept equines and then not take care of them.
