Posted by Dreamcatcher She needs a new home! Her dam is my registered AQHA mare (halter bred). I've recently weaned her so I can't bring her back up to my house as I only have 1.5 acres w/ no cross fencing AND I am still rehabbing her momma. My estranged husband darn near starved my 3 horses to death while I was settling into a new job and community. They were about a 1-2 body score when I picked them up in March. Two are now at optimum weight but this mare, due to pregnancy and nursing, has had a harder time gaining weight. She is picking up now that I've seperated her and the filly. "Rose" is 100% healthy and can be handled but is not entirely halter broken yet. She is shy and sweet but not spooky. She'll put her little nose in your chest and just let you scratch her cheeks. Adoption fee is $400 (includes PtHA registration application with all signatures in place). **Contract required, including right to follow up on her well-being, return if unable to keep (lifetime), prohibition against sale at public auction, etc. E-mail for pictures and pre-adoption questionaire. Broad white blaze but chestnut comes over eyes

She would make an excellent 4-H project horse or PtHA show prospect!
