Where are you located? We have the H.O.R.S.E. Rescue near Geneseo, NY, and we have a 16 year old Quarterhorse/Arab cross mare who is retired from jumping but should be fine for light riding. She has some arthritis in her hocks, but if she's kept on glucosomine, she does fine.
