Here are the details from that audition ad:
-------------------------
Could you be in Hi-5?
Are you a female between 18-23?
Are you a brilliant singer, who sings as easily as you speak?
Are you fit and healthy with a yoga or acrobatic background?
Do you have great Dance Skills and have experience learning choreography?
Do you have formal acting or drama training?
Do you have good skin, teeth and a great smile?
Kids Like Us and the Nine Network are casting a new female cast member for Hi-5.
If you answered yes to all of the above please send your resume and photo to
casting@hi-5.com.au
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted with further information on the audition process.
-------------------------
NOTES:
1) You must also bring with you a positive ID such as a Passport or Birth Certificate.
2) First knockout will most likely be a visual selection based on a set "image quality threshold" so therefore not every one of the ladies who applies for this latest Hi-5 audition will have the opportunity to sing, let alone sing and dance along with Charli.
3) The audition process might just be for two days, so those ladies wanting a chance to be at the final day's audition need to be there from day one. Food, accommodation, travel expenses and courtesy-bus transport will not be provided. The initial singing audition will probably be a-cappella only and not consist of a full song (remember how those POPSTARS finalists first faced the judges with just a few lines of a particular song).
4) On arrival you will be asked to sign a Legal Broadcast Rights Disclaimer Form, due to filming for television (it's most likely that Nine and/or MTV will be filming the audition process for either A Current Affair or even for an Nine-HD or MTV special with the possible working title of "Hi-5: A New Chapter"). Also, those returning for the final day's audition may be required to sign a further legal document.
5) If Hi-5 need more publicity badly following this latest cast farewell, they really should've picked Miranda Murphy or at least Sarah Gardner or Kiki from the 2004 series of POPSTARS:LIVE rather than have hold a new audition like this. After seeing those 3 girls perform on POPSTARS:LIVE I am convinced they do have what it takes to fill Charli's shoes.
Just my thoughts on the matter.
