Probably because you did not have certain credentials to have the "privilege" of being involved in what now appear to be exclusive backdoor "meet-and-greet" sessions. I even notice that whenever some of the older fans try to join in the dancing with the youngies at a Hi-5 concert, they sometimes get taken aside by the same "middle-management" and practically have the riot-act read to them. And yet, they claim that they're supposed to be promoting family values? Doesn't that also mean letting fans of all ages dance and have backdoor meet-and-greet sessions with the band?
