John, I'm with Talk Talk now & they were charging me 12p for a 1 Second Call. As soon as I heard the change in the Ring Tone at whoever I was ringing it indicated to me that I would be getting the answer phone so I'd hang up, but not quick enough. So I asked customer services what they were doing charging me for a call that had no use whatsoever & that the receiver should be liable for any charge after all it is his answer machine. A 1 second call is no use to anyone. They've got around that now by not listing any call less than 1 minute & those less than one minute are rounded up to a minute. You can't win mate.
