I don't have any difficulty with either spelling. Both are significantly better than what we got stuck with in Birmingham 10 years ago when the local authority decided that the name Christmas was divisive and named the festival "Winterval" so as not to ruffle any ethnic feathers! Happily they call it Christmas again nowadays!
