In the late 1930's, both of my sisters works at CWS at Pelaw. One worked in the Tailoring and hated it as she never liked sewing. She left in 1940 to work at Baker Perkins, but always called it the bomb factory. My other sister worked in the Drugs Department of CWS, I never found out what the job entailed.
