Another family has a link with Elias Train from Felling. See http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:3081890&id=I606167587 This family tree shows that Elias was married to a Jane born 1897 in Hebburn (your Jane Train b.1897 ?). Whats more Elias and Jane Train are listed as having a daughter born 1820 in Prestwick, Ponteland. And as our 1861 census shows, John T Lee's wife was born in Prestwick of an age to be a possible sister. The marriage details for John Lee to Jane would reveal if she was a widow or spinster, indicating if his wifes surname was her maiden name or a former husbands.
I will leave it there. As Norman points out Hebburn stands on the south Bank of the river Tyne just up from the sea coast. Whitley Bay is on the sea front on the north side of the Tyne. Train and ferry links enable travel between the two areas. Near Whitley Bay is cullercoats and I gather the fishwives of cullercoats used to sell their fish in the Felling. If you continue your search for Jane Train of Hebburn b.1797 remember that there are two Hebburns, one in Northumberland, now called Hebron, and this Hebburn on South Tyneside which was also known as Hebron in the nineteenth century. I gather the spellings must not have been established until a later date.
