- serious question as I've never really taken any notice of the subject.
What sort of flowers could you have bought in November in the good old days before these artificial preservation techniques were invented.
There were no equivalent to today's big supermarkets back then. So if I'd gone into a little flower shop in Hebburn on say 2 Nov 1960, what sort of fresh flowers would have been available to me?
