Commercial world we live in

Has anyone else noticed how commodiies are changing fast ? For example, I went into 3 different supermarkets to buy flowers and found they were all spray-dyed, and no smell. I went to a florist, and guess what, dyed again and very little smell.I may as well bought artificial ones.Also, I has anyone else noticed, when a product becomes popular and sells fast, say for example, Primula cheese spread with prawn, they take it off the shelves, never to be seen again! Maybe its my old age but I wish I could turn the clock back 50 years!
