Help with Family Research

I stumbled on this website trying to find out where 'Hebburn' was - still not sure - are you near Whitley Bay, Gateshead - family research has lead me to a Jane Trane born Hebburn abt 1797 shown in 1874 Census, may be mother of John Trane Lee b 1823 Gateshead - the family I have so far is Jane Trane Lee b 1857 m Nicholas McClean b 1851 coal miner,m 1879 Gateshead, Jane Trane is shown in 1874 Census as being born in Hebburn abt 1797 - I am hoping I can place her as may be the mother of John Trane Lee. My g.mother was a child of Nicholas and Jane Trane Lee and I had an aunt give the name Eliza Jane Trane Scott - thank god it stopped there! any help is most welcome. One of the G.mother sisters Agnes m a Tweddle and that family ran the Butchers hop at Whitley Bay for o ver 100 yrs. A Thornton Tweddle started of the Tweddle Baby's Hospital here in Vic Aus.
