isnt it a great feeling when you no longer have a mortgage :-).........our deeds were left with Northern Rock and we paid an anual fee .then we switched it to our bank to store...for a fee..........a few months ago we gave the deeds to our solicitor for some reason and when he had dealt with it and we asked for the deeds so we could return them to the bank he said why waste your money ........everything connected with your deeds is now all stored on the computer at Land Registry
