.... when the shackles and leg irons of your mortgage have eventually been paid off and you have the deeds etc. returned to you. What's the normal practice for storing them?
Do you just hide them under the mattress with your passport and £138.68p life savings? Or is there a safer and more appropriate way to have the documents stored 'officially'?
