Hi James, Thanks for that link, donno where you get them from, but quite interesting nevertheless, but its not the Rondo I used to load. It is true the Pelton Steam ship company funnel livery was a Black Band above Black & Red Squares. She was a Steam Ship with engines amidships & I imagine quite old. The Silver Band was Stevie Clarkes & also worn by the Rogate & other vessels whose names escape me now. I wonder what happened to the previous Rondo ? I left Jarrow Staith in Sep 1961 & can't recall ever loading an engines aft Rondo which isn't really surprising as we would load around 6 or 7 vessels every week.
