I have 2 TC-1 testers and both had line adjust problems. Each was corrected by disconnecting the red lead of the selenium rectifier at it's terminal strip and connecting a B+ diode to that lug and the other end to the other lug that holds the other lead from the rectifier. Be POSITIVE to have the proper polarity when wiring in the diode. The rectifier is located under the transformer.
