I work for Big Brothers Big Sisters and we have a gentleman of about 46 years of age that is sharing his story at one of our events. His story revolves around a heathkit radio that his big brother got him in 1968. It broke and they fixed it together and he took the radio everywhere he went. This in turn influenced this then 10 year boy to continue his interest in electronics and engineering. He is a successful boeing engineer now and gives much credit to where he is to today to that heathkit radio and his big brother. We would like to be able to have his big brother - now in his 60's come on stage and surprise him with a heathkit radio or one like the one he describes. It was brown - much shaped like a purse with a handle on top. Any thoughts of where we should go to find something - please let us know!
