Question, How can you tell that it s oscillating? Is it generating an RF frequency,OR s it just drawing extremely hi current? Does it do this on all bands? Check the bias system and make sure that you have the proper bias..Sound like he tubes are not being "cutoff " when in standby condition.. Harold
