Yes, I certainly do understand your connection with "tight cuts". I had my barber flatten me out on Flattop Tuesday, and provide me with my trademark Shaved High & Tight Flat Top. However, by Wednesday the sandpaper texture stubble had grown in...and I'm missing the smooth sides & back already. I'm tempted to purchase an electric razor and attempt to keep the back & sides shaved, but I feel that the top will quickly look overgrown sooner than usual. I've been experimenting with a different length top at times...but with my hairline recession, I'm afraid that the tightest top provides me with bristles barely long enough to form a Flat Top from the sides...and not the best look for me. Still I do love the feel of a tight landing strip on top. Regardless, I know that a Shaved HnT Flat Top is the only haircut that will now make me happy & feel fulfilled.
Lately, I've noticed a growing trend on another message board that has been deleting personal photographs posted by subscribers...because they are of men older than 35 years old, who may have some gray flecks in their hair or a wrinkle on their skin due to being a normal middle aged man. I'm aware of some gentlemen (who have been posting their aforementioned personal pictures) feeling offended, and refusing to read or post on that message board anymore. In response, I'm attempting to privately persuade them to become active on the "PX Barbershop". Personally, I would prefer to view photographs of real mature men...such as 42 year old flattopped astronaut Doug Hurley or 75 year old Flattopper Gene Kranz than some pimpled faced pubescent teenager receiving an induction cut at a Junior Military Academy or some male model that doesn't represent the average normal man. I earlier had been hesitant about posting multiple photographs on this message board, as I wasn't certain as to what size capacity you could post. However, I just experimented with my "Flat Top Barber Shop Photo Op" post...and there doesn't appear to be any abnormal restrictions. Therefore, I will attempt to post on the "PX Barbershop" more often.
Buzzed Wishes!
llllllllll
