At the risk of beating a dead horse; I know that you know where I stand. But I am watching the first 45 minutes of the Democratic convention. So far I have seen more women than men assume roles on stage at the convention. I have seen blacks male and female, Latinos/Latinas and Asian Americans speak. The national Treasurer of the party made his pitch, ending by intoducing himself proudly as a "gay American".
I say that this party embodies the America I know more than the GOP with a few token blacks and a few token stay at home women it is the decidedly the grand OLD party.
I say again. If you wish liberation of peoples, human rights/civil equality, and simply a party that LOOKS like the America I see every day even in my relatively remote and semi-small town in MA, then I cannot understand how you can even consider casting a vote for McCain much less actually doing so.
