I used to get my flattop cut once a week but about 4-5 months ago, I began geting it cut twice a week, about 3-4 days apart. used to ALWAYS get cut on Friday's then it changed to Thursday nights while the occasional Sunday cut strated creeping in and currently I am in the shop either Thursday or Friday daytime and then again on Mondays.
This haircut is quite habit forming and most intoxicating to me! I love the way it looks, feels and wears right after it's cut and getting it cut twice now seems so normal and maintains the fresh, crisp look constantly.
I live in Los Angeles and I see many a short haircut about and quite a bit of flattops but more fades and mostly represented on Latin men of which I am as well.
Short haircuts are very much alive in LA and I can't imagine them not as prevelent in other parts of the country.
