Posted by Joe You can walk in, but might wait a while, so call (954) 475-9277 ahead. There are a bunch of barbers, but Carl is, by far, the best and will give you an awesome "Davie Flattop," which is really a horseshoe. Ask him to skin with the razor all the way up the back and sides and down the middle of the landing strip. Pay him $15 (I think) and give him a $5 tip, it will be the best flattop you'll ever get.

Go to Carl's in Davie (southwest of downtown Ft. Lauderdale) at 13180 W. State Road 84. Mapquest it from where you're starting from as it's a bit tricky to find, but basically, if you're at the airport, take 595 west to 136thAve (the one after Flamingo), stay in the left lane after exiting and take the turn-around under 595 so that you will be headed east on SR84, then get in the right lane and about 1/4 mile up you'll turn into the lot and Carl's sits behind Dunkin Donuts.
