Pressing too hard?

You might be pressing the razor too hard against the skin w/the razor. This does result in nicks no matter what brand you use. I did this in the beginning, thinking it would result in a closer shave, but all it does is result in taking chunks out of the scalp.
I shave everyday and swear by the new Power Fusion. In addition to the 5 blades, the razor vibrates (battery in the handle)just like Wahl clippers. I've gotten several friends to switch and even a couple ladies like it for their legs.
Bought a headblade several years ago and took it back after a bloody experience in the shower. Supposedly its won several design awards, but the folks I talk to about it all had negative experiences.
