I'm surprised that even with the 5 blades of the Fusion you still cut yourself. I find that the blades are close enough to not cut your head, but you have to rinse the Fusion more often than the Mach 3 razor. I have never had a problem with either razor no nicks or cuts and I have been using them since they came out.
