Posted by DR As Gunny said - if you can get to Orleans, MA, be sure and look him up. But as he also said, we were there on his 2nd and 3rd days of opening the shop and the waits are long. He has a big following and they are all finding him. I hope he can keep as busy over the winter when the tourists are gone.

I wasn't sure what I wanted but decided on a #2 crew. He asked many questions before he even started cutting - all over buzz? shorter on sides and back? bumper or no bumper in front? etc. I asked for skin on the sides and back and he asked if I wanted it buzzed closely or did it want it shaved with a blade? I went for the #2 on top, no bumper and shaved sides and back. After he cut the top, I asked if he could do it a little shorter and he did - and told me it was a 1 1/2 - did I want it shorter? I asked for the #1. He offered to go shorter if I wanted - said he had two blades shorter. He aims to please. He is not at all rushed by the customers waiting but he moves swiftly and with precision.
