Just got done shaving this morning before going to the battle scene, nice and shiny I was. While there I got a lot of looks from men while rubbing their heads. So I'm thinking that maybe they would like to get their head shaved like mine. Much to my surprise one of the actors comes up to me and ask if I had lice. Now this man had a stringy beard about 6-7 inches long with stringy long hair. He said that in those days they shaved their heads when they had lice or bedbugs. Here I am in my t-shirt and shorts clearly not part of the reenactment, and he ask me this. So looking at him it was clear he had not showered in days if not a week or so. Of course I had to ask him when was the last time he showered. The nerve of him, asking me if I had lice. I could not believe it. hahahahha
