While I hope you're wrong, I've noticed the same thing across all sites. Think it's due to a couple things.
* Clippercuts have become commonplace again, so there is less need for communication outlets and gathering places for "haircut" fans and fetishers.
* People are lazy and don't want to write and paste photos -- YouTube's visual approach is easier for lazy folks and the younger generation.
* Lack of fresh faces and materials on line. It's the same folks over and over again. (Before someone snaps my head off, there are a few folks that still post new stuff, so my kudos there.)
* It's hard work maintaining an active site not to mention expensive, and I can't blame folks for closing sites if they don't get support and interest from visitors and readers.
* And there are now several sites (Buzzedhard and Crewcut.com to name two) that charge membership for what they consider "premium" content. (I've noticed that readership there is also down.)
* Lastly, there have been some jerks on all the sites lately, posting junk and playing games. And, no one has time for such foolishness.
