Is the Haircut scene just about over?

The signs are everywhere: THS is just about dead since the spam debacle, and the board barely works. The Towne Barbers website has disappeared, and no one seems to care. Hardly anyone posts here.
That brings me to the question WHY. Could it be because buzzes have gotten so popular that everyone has one? Just wondering....
