The problem is only you, Bush and Cheney still believe freedom in Iraq is a possibility. And, I'd suggest that Iraq is less free. Saddam was a digusting despot, but a secular one. Iraq, if it ever has anything resembling order again, appears headed to a Shite dominated theocracy -- now that's "freedom"? At the moment Iraqis are voting -- with their feet -- anyone who has the means to do so is leaving the country. What a "liberation".
