There certainly are pictures of troops with long hair in Korea although that is probably where the big trend to short hair really solidified in the the US in the 50's. Remember MASH was really and commentary on the war in Vietnam couched in Korea. It was made and the intended audience was very much a product of the 70's. Those Korean troops got a bum deal in a forgotten little action. The men today are getting a bum deal too but doubt if this action will be forgotten. I fear it will be seen as an even stronger nosedive for the Country than we percieved the loss in Vietnam. Pax
