I can't agree more. Without a moment of hesitation I believe impeachment is appropriate. Admittedly I think the Shrub is stupid and incompetent -- but that's not grounds for impeachment.
BUT --
Every person born elsewhere who seeks to become an American takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the Republic. After McCarthy so does every person who serves in the federal government. Every member of the military does likewise. Presidents do it on inauguration day -- on the Bible by history but it could be done on the Koran or by an atheist as simply his/her solemn pledge.
This man took that oath. He has abrogated it. He has made a decided effort to say HE is not bound by the Constitution. He claims to be the arbiter of what the Constitution means. He is a criminal by any definition.
Bumper Stickers are fun, but for the most part cliches. They really don't have substance. But I saw one the other day that applies here.
