I finally found a shop nearby to do a great job on my horseshoe. I was referred by a Marine recruiter; the shop turned out to be one of those 'hip hop' places. It has 6 barbers (Latino, black, white) - none much over 25. They are usually fully booked and everyone gets a short cut. They are experts with the razors. Other than a rounded flat on top (I fix it when I get home) the haircuts I get there are superb. From what I'm hearing, th short hair and barbering experience have become a major part of the young, male, urban scene. And great barbers seem to be an offshoot. Yes!
